Church History

Hello, and welcome to Catshill Methodist Church's website.

Here you will find some basic facts about us, our church, our worship, our Minister and our facilities (select the extra navigation left to obtain further information)

We are a worshipping community of about 100 members and adherents - although our average congregation on a Sunday morning is about 60. We have single people, partners and married couples plus some families with younger children in the congregation. Our worship style is varied, depending on the type of service being held, with an all age service and a Holy Communion at least once a month.

Please note the Harvest service on Sunday evening is at 4 pm NOT 6pm as per the notices. The service will be follwoed by Harvest Tea. Apologies for the error.

September 1st - Day of Prayer - see prayer stations and details here!

September 29th - MacMillan's Coffee Morning 10 am -12 noon coffee/tea and cake plus a bring and buy stall

October 15th - there is no service at Catshill in the morning - instead there is a Circuit Service at the Palace Theatre in Redditch led by The President of Conference, Rev Loraine Mellor, The District Chair, Rev Ian Howarth and the District Mission Advisor, Rev Trey Hall. This will be an all ticket event - please see Rev Anne Smith for further information.

We're supporting Troopaid (www.troopaid.info). The local contact is Pamela Eves (pam.alfred@yahoo.com or 0121 445 2338) who also offers talks on their work.
